The 5 POINTED STAR ON THE RADIATOR - explanation :-
During 5 days in 1928 Louis Delage drove 5677 kilometers in the form of a 5-pointed star to the 5 distant corners of France – (see illustration) as follows :-
1350 kms : 1st day : Brest to Nice in 23 hours 45 mins : 29th May 1928
1214 kms : 2nd day : Nice to Dunkirk in 20 hours : 30th May 1928
1014 kms : 3rd day : Dunkirk to Biarritz in 16 hours 2 mins : 31st May 1928
1084 kms : 4th day : Biarritz to Strasbourg in 18 hours 55 mins : 1st June 1928
1015 kms : 5th day : Strasbourg back to Brest in 16 hours 59 mins : 2nd June 1928
5677 kilometers or 3527 miles in 5 days demonstrating reliability with no mechanical issues
(If you draw a star across France, you get these diametrically opposed locations, hence the star)

According to the Delage Archivist records the date of manufacture is 1928 and was first registered in New Zealand in 1929 after completion of the body

Currently owned by a former Delage Club Secretary, a long-established Delage enthusiast with other Delages, he states this car is in very good original condition, well maintained with lovely original interior.
The only reason for selling is lack of space, due to recent house down-sizing.
